The Hills: New Beginnings is an American reality television show, which generated as a sequel to The Hills...The show got premiered on June 24, 2019 and by July 2019, the series were renewed for a second season by MTV. In the series, original cast members, alongside their children, friends, and new faces were reunited and also comprises their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles.

The series were centered on personal and professional lives of young women living in Los Angeles, California. The return of the series 'The Hills: New Beginnings' was announced at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on August 20, 2018. The premiere of the series was later announced on April 2, 2019 and it got aired on June 24, 2019. The series got renewed for a second season on July 22, 2019. It was produced by Adam DiVello, while Sean Travis and Liz Gateley were the executive producers.

It was made known by people that Lauren Conrad, the original star of The Hills, would not be among the cast for The Hills: New Beginnings. Us Weekly gave confirmation that Kristin Cavallari who replaced Lauren Conrad as star of The Hills in season six, and also Lo Bosworth who was a main cast member for season six, would also not return for the concluding series.

This episode got aired on June 24, 2019 and it got 650,000 viewers in the US. In the episode, Audrina returns to Los Angeles and reunites with Whitney and Heidi, they talk about motherhood and Audrina reveals to them that Justin has reached out to her since her divorce. Stephanie on the other hand, also moves back from London hoping to repair her relationship with her brother, Spencer. Frankie organizes a welcome party for Stephanie's homecoming and the whole cast is invited.
This episode got aired on July 1, 2019 and it got 590,000 viewers in the US.This episode explains more about the party where Mischa confronts Perez Hilton about past online bullying. Meanwhile, Stephanie went ahead to confront both Spencer and Heidi, but it didn't not end well as that resulted in a conflict. Stephanie thought Heidi was manipulating her brother, on the other hand, Spencer thought Stephanie was a selfish being. Brandon invited Brody and Frankie to his new house and opened up to them about his struggles with alcohol abuse. Audrina still have some likeness for Justin, but she is afraid he is not reliable.

This episode got aired on July 8, 2019 and it had 540,000 viewers in the U.S.
It entails that Spencer feels a change in Brody since marrying Kaitlynn and that she is one of the reasons why they are not as close as they once were. The duo have a heated discussion during Justin's concert. Audrina gets to know that Justin and Stephanie are closer than she thought.

In this episode, A wild fire showed up when Brody and Kaitlynn are supposed to travel to Las Vegas with their friends, so Brody decides to stay in Malibu to protect their property. Stephanie, Justin, Frankie, Audrina and Mischa are already in Las Vegas trying to enjoy their stay, until Stephanie confronts Audrina about what Joey said during Heidi and Spencer's event. Stephanie gets really defensive, but Justin did not even try to debunk the rumors and this makes Mischa suspicious.
6. I don't think we can be friends
This episode got aired on July 29, 2019 and got 430,000 viewers in the US.
In this episode, Heidi contemplates on collaborating with Justin, so as to release new music. Audrina and Joey meet Stephanie and try to squash the rumors, but it did not end well. Frankie invites everyone over for a dinner party but Audrina does not feel like going because she is afraid Justin and Stephanie would create a scene. Afterwards, Audrina and Justin met in a restaurant hoping to move on, but they quickly realize they are probably not going to be able to remain friends.
7. You're Enemy #1
This episode got aired on August 5, 2019 and it got 390,000 viewers in the US.
In this episode, Heidi and Spencer invite Stephanie over for Thanksgiving; the three of them were so nervous but it all went well and Stephanie talks about a fight she had with Brody. They later join the others at Frankie's house, where Justin brought his new girlfriend. Stephanie thinks this is proof the rumors about her and Justin were completely false and demands an apology from Audrina, but she didn't oblige.

This episode got aired on August 12, 2019 and got 580,000 viewers in the US.
In this episode, Audrina reconnects with another of her ex-boyfriends, Ryan Cabrera. Heidi and Spencer's ten years anniversary is coming up and they decided to celebrate with a fancy dinner on a yacht, Heidi tells Spencer that she is ready to have another baby, but he does not think it is the right time for them since they were focusing on their marriage and their careers. Jason reveals to Spencer he has had a relapse with alcoholism, but he and Ashley are trying to keep things under control, trying to attend Kaitlynn's party. Things between Brandon and his date started getting serious.

In this episode, Heidi and Spencer started planning their vow renewal for their forth-coming wedding anniversary. Heidi is specially excited for her bachelorette party since she didn't have one before getting married. Stephanie sees the party as an occasion for her and Heidi to become closer, but she is also nervous because Audrina is going to be present at the party. After the party, the two ended up having a heated discussion.
