Star Actress, Funke Akindele Celebrates Her 43rd Birthday

Funke Akindele who is a Nigerian actress, film maker, director and producer celebrates her 43rd birthday in style... She was born on August 24, 1977 as Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele. She was born in Lagos, Ikorodu to be precise. She came from the family of three consisting of two girls and a boy. She is the second born of the family.

Funke Akindele acquired her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) at Moshood Abiola Polythecnic where she studied mass communication. Thereafter, she proceeded to University of Lagos.

She started her acting career long time ago but made her major debut when she featured in the movie titled 'Jenifa' and that earned her nickname Jenifa. She is an award-winning actress and a prominent one. She can be characterised as a veteran.

She is married to JJC Skillz and their union has produced twin boys. They celebrated their 4th year wedding anniversary yesterday.
